Events' calendar for the European Cyber Security Month

The full list of events for the EU Cyber Security Month is now available online: 2012 ECSM events calendar

European Cyber Security Month pilot, taking place throughout October, aims to increase knowledge of Network and Information Security (NIS) issues, modify perceptions of threats, and provide updated security information through education, good practices, competitions and roadshows.

Activities incorporate social media campaigns, TV and radio messages and educational packages for small and medium-sized enterprises. Material includes posters, videos and leaflets.

Participating countries include the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and the United Kingdom (Get Safe Online).

The European Cyber Security Month is aligned with the European Commission’s Digital Agenda for Europe, action point 32 : “Strengthen the fight against cybercrime at international level”.
